GOAL will have a booth at the Capital City Farmers Market this Saturday 9am – 12pm. We will be selling tickets for our Fundraiser (Oct 25), registering voters and promoting chicken art.
If you would like to meet people with an interest in local foods, spend an hour or two staffing the table. Otherwise, please stop by and say hi
And speaking of Farmers Markets, don’t forget Country Farmers Markets at the Pierre Mall this Saturday. They will be winding down soon so get their goodies while you can!

Call for Plates
Do you have lunch or bread plates that you no longer need or use infrequently? We would love to use them at our fundraiser (Oct 25) to minimize waste. You can bring them to the membership meeting or email me to come get them.
Pairing Local Food/Local Wine: Fall Fundraiser Oct 25.Since I’ve mentioned our fundraiser several times already, I’ll go ahead and give you more details. It will be at ChrisaMari vineyards, Oct 25. If you’ve always wanted to know the essentials of wine pairing beyond red=beef, white=chicken, you should attend. Only 30 tickets will be sold!
Do you have chicken art on your lawn to show your support for a local chicken ordinance? If so, show us! Post a picture to our FB group.
