Foodshed Meeting Report
The local foods committee had a productive meeting about conducting a foodshed study on Monday night.
The most important work they did was to define why do a foodshed study. Understanding what we hope to accomplish will shape how the study will be done. We are beginning with the end in mind.
We are undertaking a foodshed analysis to understand opportunities to:
- Expand consumer access to local foods.
- Expand producer access to local markets.
- Connect producers and consumers.
If you would like to be part of this, please contact Sabrina.

Get involved. Make it happen. Local action. Community strong.
